Usama Al Kindi
Architect
Usama Al Kindi graduated as an Architect from the Edinburgh College of Art and the University of Edinburgh. He is an Arabic speaker and Omani national, which brings vital language skills and important regional knowledge to our residential developments in Muscat and the Middle East.
Following his Masters-Degree Show, Usama was selected to exhibit at the Royal Scottish Academy's ‘New Contemporaries’ exhibition in 2015. His design work has been reviewed by the Architect’s Journal, and Usama was nominated for the celebrated Rowan Anderson, Silver Medal Award by the Royal Institute of Architects in Scotland.
As a practising visual artist, Usama draws on the natural relationship between art and space. He incorporates an artist's attitude into his conceptual thought process and likes to explore the cusp between art and architecture in his designs.
Usama contributes an essential local perspective to Kettle Collective's global design team.
