Omar Ibrahim

Architectural Designer

Omar is an Architectural Designer who completed both his undergraduate and master's degrees in architecture at Oxford Brookes University, with experience working at a conservation and heritage firm in Oxford.

Following his bachelor’s thesis which explored topics of identity and place, he chose to specialise in Development & Emergency Practice followed by a research-led design studio during his master's. This has contributed to his architectural approach which is rooted with a people-first and narrative-driven focus, emphasising the importance of creating spaces that resonate with their users' needs and stories. This, along with his experience in the restoration and adaptation of historic buildings to modern settings, has deepened his love for contextual architecture.

Alongside this, Omar has gained a diploma in graphic design and fine art and pursued freelance graphic design and photography for over a decade. He also has a keen interest in film and television with brief experience in the industry, which further inspires his design process and love for visual storytelling, and is fluent in Arabic as a second language.
