Tony Kettle’s Lakhta Centre, currently under construction, has now overtaken Europe’s tallest building to become the tallest building in Europe. Due to be completed at 462 metres tall, the Lakhta Centre will be the 11th tallest tower in the world upon completion.
The inspiration for the Lakhta Centre tower design comes from the concept of energy in water with the form of the building deriving its shape from the changing nature of water, ever changing light and reflections. To find out more about Lakhta Centre, visit the project page here.
