Completed in 2013, the model of the Solar Innovation Centre has been exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy Open Exhibition in 2014, where it was awarded the architecture prize for ‘Outstanding Work.’ Designer, Sarah Kettle, built two editions of the model and these now reside in Kettle Collective’s studios in Edinburgh and Dubai. The mixed-media model is predominantly made from a paper-thin plastic material.
