Kettle Collective is proud to celebrate the opening of Renfrew Bridge - concept designed by Tony Kettle.

Tony attended the celebrations to mark the bridge opening with the communities from Renfrew and Clyde, as well as prominent figures including the Scottish Government Minister for Employment and Investment Tom Arthur, and Renfrewshire Council leader Iain Nicolson.

Spanning 184 metres across the River Clyde, this double-leaf swing bridge is more than a crossing, it's a moving landmark that connects communities, reflects local heritage, and brings new life to the area. Kettle Collective designed the bridge to respond to the river’s natural geometry, echoing the lines of the old dockside cranes.

Delivered as part of the £1 billion Glasgow City Region Deal, this project exemplifies what thoughtful design and collaboration can achieve.
