Niaz Ahmed

Junior Urban Designer
Niaz Ahmed is an Architect and Urban Designer with experience across a diverse spectrum of projects—from detailed interior spaces to Urban Wetland Parks and expansive masterplans. A graduate of the School of Architecture and Planning, Anna University 2022, he has worked with firms such as Sponge Collaborative, RqMA Design, and MVYN Architecture, where he contributed to projects across all stages, from pre-concept design to construction documentation and execution.

With a strong foundation in context-sensitive design and nature-based urban strategies, Niaz brings a thoughtful and innovative approach to tackling complex urban challenges. His past work reflects a deep commitment to sustainable and human-centric development, especially through his involvement in designing low-cost housing solutions for NGOs, exploring metaverse 3D spatial modeling, AI-driven design research, and modular housing using repurposed shipping containers.

A passionate designer and a frequent design competition entrant, Niaz has participated in over 20 international competitions, earning top rankings in many. Known for his clear communication, problem-solving abilities, and strong collaborative spirit, he is always eager to take on challenging projects that push the boundaries of design thinking.
