Omar Majzoub is a registered Architect based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Sydney and a PhD from the University of New South Wales, focused on analysing and improving early design processes through methodological and computational research. He is a registered architect in New South Wales and a member of the Australian Institute of Architects.
Omar’s work is driven by a strong interest in the ways in which architecture is shaped by context, culture and craft. His design approach seeks to create integrated environments that are timeless and refined, with a strong emphasis on proportion, materiality and spatial clarity. He is particularly interested in the relationship between architecture and nature, where buildings respond to and enhance their surroundings rather than imitate them. This research-oriented mindset informs both his professional and academic work, positioning architecture as a collaborative, thoughtful and informed practice.
