This weeks Friday Forum was presented by Emma who gave the team an insight into her Textile Design degree at Heriot Watt University.

The Textile Design Degree at Heriot-Watt focused not only on the design of textiles but also the technical background involved in the process of creating fabrics and wallpapers. This insight provides a fantastic base for any designer to allow them to truly understand how these products are constructed for the end-user.

The course consisted of three disciplines, weave, knit and print, which all had fantastic facilities to let each student fully experiment with design.
