19th March

2026

Kettle Collective is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Lambert as Chief Legal Officer, marking an important step in the practice’s continued growth and long-term strategic development.

Scott joins with over 38 years of experience advising on the legal and commercial aspects of complex construction and infrastructure projects across the GCC and Australasia. A former partner at leading law firms in both Australia and the UAE, including Regional Head of Construction and Infrastructure at Al Tamimi & Company and a Partner at Beale & Co and ADG Legal, he is widely recognised as one of the region’s foremost experts in construction law and project delivery.

His appointment reflects Kettle Collective’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its leadership capabilities as the practice continues to expand its work across increasingly complex and large-scale projects.

Experience Across Landmark Projects

Throughout his career, Scott has advised on a wide range of high-profile developments spanning infrastructure, cultural landmarks, and mixed-use destinations.

His project experience includes the Dubai Metro 2020 expansion, Al Maktoum Solar Park, W Hotel and Residences Palm Jumeirah, and Wasl Tower in the UAE, as well as major projects across Australasia such as the Wiggins Island Coal Handling Terminal, Fiji International Airport expansion, Southpoint Hotel, Commercial and Residences, and the National Broadband Network.

Supporting Complexity at Scale

As projects become more interconnected and multi-layered, legal strategy plays an increasingly central role in shaping outcomes from the earliest stages.

Scott’s expertise spans contract drafting and procurement strategy, claims management, negotiations, and contract systems, as well as formal notice drafting and claims presentation. This breadth of experience supports efficient project delivery by ensuring that risks and complience are clearly understood, responsibilities are well-defined, and processes are structured to withstand the realities of large-scale development.

A Strategic Addition to the Leadership Team

This appointment comes at a time when Kettle Collective continues to grow its portfolio across disciplines and geographies.

By bringing senior legal expertise into the executive team, the practice is reinforcing its commitment to strong governance, clear decision-making, and the systems required to support sustainable growth.

Known for his collaborative and solutions-oriented approach, Scott works closely with project teams to manage risk proactively and support delivery from inception through to completion. His ability to combine legal precision with commercial awareness makes him a valuable partner in complex project environments.

At Kettle Collective, he will play a key role in guiding legal strategy, supporting project delivery, and ensuring the practice is well-positioned for the opportunities ahead.

Welcome to the team Scott!
