Loch Lomond Golf Course

The Loch Lomond Golf Course is in a prime location on the banks of the loch with numerous listed buildings and scheduled monuments that are part of the estate. Kettle Collective looked at three different areas of development of Rossdhu estate, each proposal in respect of the National Park and cultural heritage of the site. The first project consists in the extension to Rossdhu House conservatory to increase covers at Spikes restaurant / bar and provide a halfway house accessible from the 9th tee that can also be used as private dining.

The extension will have a simple modern character enhancing the beauty of the listed clubhouse building. The second project is the creation of a caddy shack that will replace existing temporary buildings with permanent buildings including caddie lounge, club storage and associated car parking. The caddy shack will be expressed as an architectural shed providing the functional requirements as well as comfort for the caddies.

The last project consists in the restoration of the early 19th century Rossdhu Estate Laundry building to re-use it into a wine cellar with wine tasting area.
