Tony Kettle Honoured at the Architecture Leaders Awards as Renfrew Bridge Wins Silver at the Scottish Design Awards

26th June

2026

Kettle Collective is proud to celebrate an evening of recognition, with Founder and Design Principal Tony Kettle receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Architecture Leaders Awards and Renfrew Bridge winning Silver in the Regeneration and Masterplanning category at the Scottish Design Awards.

The Architecture Leaders Awards honour individuals and practices that have made an outstanding contribution to the built environment. Tony's Lifetime Achievement Award recognises a career spanning more than three decades and his enduring contribution to shaping landmarks and communities across the Middle East and beyond.

Accepting the award, Tony reflected on the collaborative nature of architecture and the people who have contributed throughout his career.

"This award is not just a recognition of my work, but of the many talented colleagues, clients and collaborators I've had the privilege to work alongside over the years. Great architecture is always a collective effort."

The evening also marked wider recognition for Kettle Collective at the Architecture Leaders Awards, where the practice was shortlisted in two further categories: Architectural Practice of the Year and CEO of the Year for Colin Bone.

On the same evening, Renfrew Bridge received a Silver Award at the Scottish Design Awards, recognising the project's design quality and contribution to Scotland's infrastructure. Led by Renfrewshire Council, the bridge connects Renfrew with Clydebank and Yoker, strengthening links across the River Clyde while supporting regeneration and improving access for local communities.

We would like to thank Renfrewshire Council, our project partners and everyone involved in the delivery of Renfrew Bridge. This recognition reflects the shared vision, expertise and collaboration that made the project possible.

Reflecting on the evening, Colin Bone, CEO, said:

"To see Tony recognised with a Lifetime Achievement Award while Renfrew Bridge is celebrated at the Scottish Design Awards made it a very special evening for everyone at Kettle Collective. These achievements reflect the talent, creativity and commitment of our people, and the trust our clients place in us to deliver projects that make a lasting impact."
