1. What brought you to Kettle Collective, and what were you doing before?
I was drawn to Kettle Collective because of its creative, international presence and the way the team combines strong ideas with practical thinking. My background isn’t in traditional design – I worked in leadership roles for start-ups, which has given me a strategic, client-focused mindset that has benefitted me in every interiors role since.
2. What do you enjoy most about your job and working in this industry?
I love challenges, exploring new possibilities without limitations, and creating solutions that go deeper to achieve both beautiful and practical design objectives. For me, design starts with the end-user – understanding how a space should feel, work, and support wellbeing. In my opinion, everything must serve a purpose while also achieving a beautiful aesthetic.
3. What are you most proud of achieving so far at Kettle Collective?
I am most proud of the growth of the interior design team. We’ve focused on building a collaborative culture, bringing together different skills to deliver impactful work. We have a talented team of design specialists who are all fantastic and I can say with confidence that we have the best people! Our team posses a positive energy, creative mindset, and the breadth of different experiences and capabilities needed to respond to our clients’ diverse briefs.
4. What do you enjoy outside of work?
I am a big believer in creating balance in my life by keeping active, both physically and mentally, with activities like yoga and meditation that are good for body and mind. I am currently studying for a master’s in business administration, which is enjoyable while also keeping me busy outside of my daily work.
5. What is a phrase that you live by?
